Civic Relationships 2:13-17 We submit to every human authority…such is “the will of God” v a Mt 22:21 Rom 13:1-2, 5-7 Doing so “silences the ignorance of foolish men” (“muzzles our critics”) v. 15b

Our Relationship To Christ 2:21-25 Jesus is portrayed as our “Example” He shows what it means to “trust God” enough to do His will…especially in difficult conditions that are not conducive to faith

Domestic Relationships Ù Wives 3:1-6 “In the same way…” (Likewise) is contextual The woman’s status as a Christian doesn’t remove her obligations to her husband any more than a slave’s discipleship removed his obligations to his master
