1. You are all brilliant at cooking in lessons and coming up with ideas.
But to get better you need to practise your key skills to improve, just like in sport, music or art.
As I can only teach you for a term I want you to keep cooking at home.
So I can see what you have done, I want you to start making your own cook book. You are going to keep making this cookbook all the way through school.
Top Tips
Simply take pictures of the food you make and anything else you think is relevant and interesting about your cooking.
Keep it simple, this should be something you enjoy making, not a cookbook of essays.
Try to cook both savoury and sweet but you must make sure your meals are balanced.

At the end of the year you will hand in your cookbook either via the Genie or by hand. This can be done on computer or by hand its your choice
The best cookbooks will be chosen and those students will be rewarded with a food related prize (juicy).
