3 System Overview Plant Purpose
Provide 2K liquid Helium to the linac while protecting personnel and equipment Cryoplant Controls Purpose Provide and install instrumentation and controls electronics in cryoplant Provide reliable plant automation, interlocks and alarms Provide local and remote monitoring and control At the heart of this control system are 19 Allen-Bradley ControlLogix 1756-L71 and L81 PLCs.
