3 What are the rules of a correct sentence?
A sentence is a group of words that makes sense on its own. A sentence must begin with a capital and end with a full stop, question mark or exclamation mark. A sentence should always include a subject and a verb.

4 Make a cake! (or just draw one)
Like a simple cake, a simple sentence has just two ingredients: A subject A verb

5 Which is the subject and which is the verb?
Mr Stringer ran backwards.

6 Are these sentences? Mr Stringer ran. Ran backwards.
Backwards, Mr Stringer ran.
