 M.A.R.S. Inc.
M.A.R.S. Inc. has provided customers with a safe, reliable and economical way to recycle surplus assets.
After 40 years in the barge and ship demolition business, M.A.R.S. expanded the business to accommodate offshore decommissioning and
opened a new location in 2010 with the main focus of handling offshore
platform and rig recycling.
Since 2010, M.A.R.S. has performed over 800 off-loads, 750 material barge setups, clean-offs, off charters and recycled more than 1,400,000 tons of offshore platforms.
M.A.R.S. has processed over 10,000 barges and 100 ships of various sizes over the 40 years in business.

near the North Sea and with easy access to oil fields.
The port of Frederikshavn has optimal sailing
conditions all year round with minimal tidal changes
and easy access to larger metropolitan areas and

M.A.R.S. Europe is designed to safely and efficiently process large scale recycling projects, and will have the capacity to recycle in excess of 200,000 tons of metal annually. This will include ships, semi-submersibles, jack-ups, and of course any size of offshore production facilities and associated jackets.

Over 290,000 m2 of processing area
550 m of dedicated quay front, with access to an additional 600 m as required
Water depth up to 11 meters along new bulkheads
Onshore mobile crane capacity up to 2,300 mT
