2 Prairie State Unit 1 Online and operating well
Good Fall Run One Tube Leak in mid-November (8-days) Unit 2 online and operating well Fall Outage Started 4-days early due to tube leak Outage ran longer than expected High Weld rejection rates (10%) caused delay in outage. Moisture in Argon shielding and use of larger weld rods Corrected weld issues and went back down to a typical 1-2% rejection rate PSGC staff working to insure weld rejection rates do not reoccur at these high rates and tie reject rates into schedule impact

3 Prairie State Upcoming Outages Unit 1 Spring Outage Tour
Unit 1 – 70-day Spring 2017 Outage starting in early March First steam turbine major to include generator work Boiler inspections and repairs Air-Heater repairs Submerged Flight Conveyor repairs/rebuild Unit 2 – 28-day Fall 2017 Outage Unit 1 Spring Outage Tour Good time to visit when steam turbine is completely disassembled. Mine production continues to meet the needs of the plant Continue to have a good safety record. Coal Pile Inventory 46-days

Overall good fall run Small de-rate early this week to address seal cooling line on “B”- BFP Low Load Testing – December See how low we can go without jeopardizing unit operations Big River Steel startup to occur later this month Unit currently at 175-days continuous operation Upcoming Outage 42-day Spring 2017 Outage starting in mid-March First steam turbine major

Plant fully compliant with all environmental regulations Coal Pile Inventory: 67-days

7 Iatan 2 Unit currently offline Fall outage Started 6-days early
Electro-matic Relief Valve failed causing initial trip Steam leak and differential expansion issues forced early start of outage Outage ran longer than expected

Boiler Chemical Clean Platen Superheater Thermocouple installations ID Fan overhaul SCR Catalyst Layer replacement Tie-In for new SDE Absorber Blowdown Capital Project Issues Delaying Startup Exfoliation issues in Platen Section Two Failed Startups Vent line steam leak on the HP Turbine Casing

Good third quarter of operations Capacity Factor Q3 – 44.9% Mostly daily cycles/Some Overnight Runs Scheduled Fall Outage began early October Unit 2 CT Hot Gas Path/Generator Rewind Steam Turbine Major Discovered a small crack in the HP Inner Casing – Caused outage extension Next Scheduled Outage 14-day Summer “Tune-Up” : Spring 2017 Excellent Safety and Environmental records No safety issues during outage

11 MoPEP Resources Nebraska City Unit 2 Unit online no issues
Overall good Fall Operations October: Circ Water Pump issues again. One pump removed from service for repairs Small de-rate on output for couple of weeks Forced outage late November – Tube Leak Unit out of service for 3-days Next Scheduled Outage 45-day: Spring 2017 starting in March: Replace HP/IP Steam Turbine Rotor Excellent Safety and Environmental records

12 MoPEP Resources Laddonia and Macon Turbines operating well
Laddonia picked up by SPP in peaking mode during POET outage Fredericktown Turbines fully available Good Fall Operations from turbines October good month for Fredericktown 22 starts and 60 hrs total operations Trenton, Butler, Macon, Rolla, and Waynesville Solar Projects continue to operate as expected Marshall Solar Project startup this week – Inverter testing today All other renewable resources providing good mix of renewable resources
