It is one of the most important part of the study as it gives a direction in the area of your research. It helps to set a goal for your analysis giving the problem statement. ME 590 Seminar Content State of the Art (on related Technologies) Fundamentals of the thesis topics are to be explained here as well as the state of the art on the related technologies. State of the art refers to the highest level of general development, as of a device, technique, or scientific field achieved at a particular time. ME 590 Presentations Presentations will be tentatively on June 2nd, Friday (the date is subject to change depending on the schedule of the final exams). Presentations will be open to public. Each presentation is limited to 20 minutes. There will be a question and answer session after each presentation (approximately 10 min.). For each MSc. candidate, there will be 3 jury members to decide on the grade (S/U). Attendance to all presentations is compulsory. Otherwise will be penalized with the grade U.
