2 Brief Overview International Undergraduate Program (IUP) was established on July 25, 2007 based on Dean’s Decision Letter No. 46A/J /SK/2007. At the beginning, the international program offers Accounting program, and then in the following years Management and Economics Programs are offered. This Program is designed to fulfill the need of facing global challenge. The International Program ‘s medium teaching is therefore delivered in English. In addition the students are encouraged to have academic experience in the overseas universities by taking double degree, exchange program, etc.

3 VISION MISSIONS To be a center of excellence in accounting education and research on the basis of professionalism and ethic values to give great benefit to its stakeholders. Running high qualified accounting education and relevance to the need of society (stakeholders). Conducting researches which support the running of accounting education and the implementation of good governance both in public and private sectors. Dedicating the result of education and research to the society.

4 Aims and Objectives Producing graduates who:
Have high competency in accounting and basic skills in research to develop accounting field. Are able to implement accounting knowledge in the practices of accounting profession field and in providing service toward society. Are able to behave professionally, ethics, and religious.

5 Graduate Competencies
Accounting graduates have to have competencies in: A. Knowledge and Understanding: Understanding the basic knowledge of economics, management, and accounting. Understanding the conceptual, theoretical, and practical of accounting. Understanding the importance of research and development in accounting discipline continuously. Understanding and realizing that accounting is a discipline which is not free in value and context. Understanding and being aware of the importance of life-long learning.

6 Graduate Competencies
B. Intellectual, Practical, and Managerial Skills: Mastering the method of accounting development. Mastering the method of accounting research. Having the ability to implement accounting within various organizations. Having the ability to develop accounting information system. Having the ability to apply financial auditing. Having the ability in taxation. Having the ability to use computer in which it is not only used to solve accounting problems, but also to communicate and to access internet. Having the ability to adapt within new environment and to work in a team. Having the ability to lead a small team to apply a simple accounting. Having the ability to make research and society devotion proposals in accounting. Having the ability to write reports and scholarly papers. Having the ability to present reports and scholarly papers. Having the ability to take work opportunities in accounting field. Having the ability to compete nationally and internationally. Having the ability to use Indonesian as well as English in written and oral form. Having the ability to compete with others in continuing their study. Being independence to develop themselves (self study), and having the ability to think logically and analytically in order to solve the problem professionally.

7 Graduate Competencies
C. Moral Attitude and Behaviour: Taking God’s favour as a motivation in working. Holding and respecting morality, law, politeness, and profession ethic. Developing honesty, discipline, critical ability, self confidence, independence, emotional control, cooperative, faith, empathy, and spirituality. Having the ability to adapt in the working environment. Having high working ethics and doing the best in every activity. Having self consciousness to study and to innovate continuously.

8 CURRICULUM International program of FEB UB has designed the curriculum by including the latest developments. The course load of Accounting Program is measured in Credit Points (CPs). The total credit points required for the completion of its program is 144 CPs. The curriculum of international program in accounting : ACCOUNTING.doc

9 Overseas Academic Program (OAP)
Overseas Academic Program (OAP) is academic activities which aim to provide students’ understanding and experience of trans-national academic, cultural and business traditions in the surrounding university partners. Activities include (for Internship and Field Study): Sitting in a class lecture Visiting business practices near by the campus Visiting Library Visiting Business Laboratory Visiting Technology Center Student gathering with the home student Having Student Discussion with the home student representatives

10 Overseas Academic Program (OAP)
DESCRIPTION Double Degree A program where the students take double degree in two universities. The implementation will be 4 semesters in UB, and 2 semesters in overseas universities Exchange A program that allows transfer credits and students studying in overseas universities for 1 semester Sandwich A program aims at providing the students in the final year who takes minor thesis to have discussion and literature review in the overseas universities library for months Internship A program that encourages students either to have job experience in the overseas institution or to take part in the research center of the university partner for 1 month Field Study A program that encourages students to have academic experience by sitting in the class for 1-2 weeks in overseas universities without transfer credit

12 Prospect The International Program graduates get various jobs either in the government or private institution. They can also become entrepreneur.
