2 Self Flowing Flask Boyles Air Pump
Below is an air pump that helped experiment the relationship between the pressure and volume of gas within a closed system. Boyle’s self-flowing flask fills itself through siphon action, which of course is not actually possible, with the acceptance of some drinks. Self Flowing Flask Video

3 Robert Boyle was an Irish philosopher, chemist, and inventor
Robert Boyle was an Irish philosopher, chemist, and inventor. He is best knows today for Boyles Law, which describes the opposite relationship between the absolute pressure and volume of a gas, if the temperature is kept the same in a closed system. 4 Scientific Revolution
The Scientific Revolution was the beginning of modern science during the 1600’s. Some other advancements were mathematics, physics, astronomy, biology (human anatomy too) and chemistry. This revolution transformed views of society and nature. It was caused by the increase in wealth from Europe.
