2
Issues Ongoing need for photos and images – important CTG assets!
Used by Marketing, Press, Development and Education Current State Primarily managed by Press Stored on shared server – access controls Usage policies vary widely Sometimes captions are lost Only discovery method is browsing released images

Media Output Channels Print – Brochures, magazines, educational materials, etc. Digital – Web site, Social Media, Mobile apps Digital – eBlasts Digital – Board presentations Hard assets – Marketing collateral
4
Requirements (not exhaustive)
Metadata capability – contextual info Solid search with filtering Scalable (cloud based good for this – can buy storage as needed) Versioning of images Usage rights clearly communicated Shareable, but with access controls Batch uploading Archival management Multi platform – many artistic apps are Mac-centric Easy publication to web, apps, social media, etc. Batch tagging Reachable through the intranet (browser is good so that users can upload from home)
