3 About Padova, Italy Padova, Italy is also known as Padua in English. Right now, the population of Italy is 213,594 people living in there now. It covers square miles of Italy. Italy claims to be the oldest city in northern Italy and West of Venice by 26 miles, East of Verona by 50 miles, East of Vicenza by 20 miles and also East of Milan by 145 miles. It is also a walled city situated along the Bachiglione River between Verona and Venice.

4 Places to visit and things to do in Padua(Padova), Italy
Places people go to when they go visit Padua, Italy is the Cathedral because of the frescos made by an Italian artist named Giotto which we can talk about later. If you want to know the OLDEST university in Padua, Italy would be the University of Padua. It was first built in 1222 and was always there for 791 years. (that’s a really long time!) Tourists are also attracted to the most popular museum in Padua which is the Fondazione Bano Palazzo Zabarella. In there is a lot of paintings from famous artists. If you like to see gardens that are so pretty, then you can go to the Botanical Garden of Padua. People go there because it is the oldest botanical garden in the whole world.
