4 •In these courses, students will continue to grow as readers, writers, and speakers of the English language. They will analyze, evaluate, interpret, and compose various types of texts including, but not limited to, narratives, persuasive texts, primary documents, and functional and public documents. An exploration of the aforementioned texts will lead to a broader knowledge and greater respect for the English language. I teach students how to think - don't be concerned with a grade, but rather the learning English is a skills-based course, not content-based 8th Grade English
