Background information
FFDB has been designed in 2004? and has been available to the public since then.
No development work has been done on the system since.
NIWA has obtained TFBIS funding to upgrade the FFDB database and information delivery mechanisms.
The NIWA Centre for Environmental Information supports the FFDB and has worked over the past year to upgrade FFDB.
Purpose of this document is to provide stakeholders with information about the intended changes and invite comments.

New updated “FF factsheets” to replace old FF Atlas.
