Because this region is close to the equator it is warm almost all year long

In this region its warm almost all year long but rarley cold
Its warm a lot so the growing season is long so you can grow longer

The southeast has a lot of rivers and that means water power
The gulf of Mexico has a lot of oil to drill out
During the fall hunting season stars but in the southeast its still warm so not a lot of animals don’t go into hibernation
Iron ore is a major natural resource it was found in Alabama on red mountain in the 1800s

One of the major landforms is the Appalachian mountain range that stretches from main to Alabama the average elevation is about 6684 feet
The costal plain is a major land form it is about 500 miles long

The thing that makes this region different from others is you can ski and go to the beach in the same day km
