Car Project The purpose of this activity is to imagine that for Christmas you will be given a car. This car is one that you will have to keep (not get and resell for the money). You can have any car that you desire and use it for any purpose you want. On the next page are the instructions for selecting the car and what you have to describe about the car

Instructions You have to decide, if given a car for Christmas what kind of vehicle (car or truck) you would like. On the first page of the presentation put a picture of the car, along with its name. On the second page put a logo of the company that makes that car along with the Car Company as the title. On the third page put a detailed description as to why you want this car (looks, mileage, use, reliability, power, speed, rarity, price ect.)

1967 Ford Shelby Mustang GT 500 Often improperly called Cobras

Ford Motor Company Established in 1903 by Henry Ford Logo History

Why this car?? I would like to have this car for many reasons but here are the main ones: 1. I truly like the look of the car. It has a bold muscle car look. 2. The car had Speed/Power to burn, since it some were equipped with a 428-cid "Police Interceptor” V-8 engine and could go 0-60 in 6.2 seconds 3. Rarity –it is believed that only a handful of them were made, equipped with the 428 engine

Specs The 1967 Shelby GT 500 Specifications Wheelbase, inches: Weight, lbs: 3,000 Number built: 2,050 Base price: $4,195 Standard Engine Type: ohv V-8 Displacement, cid: 428 Fuel system: 2 x 4 bbl. Compression ratio: 10.5:1 rpm: 5400 rpm: Representative Performance 0-60 mph, sec: 6.2 1/4 mile, mph: 99

The Cobra title came from the Cobra emblem, paint scheme, valve and breather covers that were used and shared from the Shelby American Motor Company The 2000 movie Gone in 60 Seconds starring Nicolas Cage featured a custom 1967 Shelby G.T. 500 referred to as Eleanor and very much popularized the American Classic.

The original Ford Mustang GT 500 was designed to be white until the Shelby accessories were added.
