5 Freshers Week Shared half hour slot with CUSU Sabbatical Officers
First Year Induction Talks Shared half hour slot with CUSU Sabbatical Officers Sabbaticals Officers - 20 mins, talk on CUSU services Senior Reps - 10 minutes Arrive at the beginning of the slot Your slides are on your new USB Collect names and s from interested students on the form provided the application link to the Course Reps you have recruited Check the portal to make sure they sign up: Chase any that don’t sign up (by , not physically or you will scare them!)

6 What happens if... A CUSU Sabbatical or Faculty Chair does not turn up? Give them a couple of minutes, then explain to the staff member you will start with your 10 minute presentation. The Sabbatical may arrive by the time your slot has ended. Your USB/the IT doesn’t work? Try your best to talk through your presentation using the paper version you have with you. The group is so big it’s difficult to take down names/ s? Ask to give your talk before the Sabbs so that you can hand out the details forms to be passed around and completed during the Sabb talk – remember to collect them at the end. No-one wants to be a Course Rep? This shouldn’t happen!! But if it does try to reiterate the importance of the role and reassure them it will not take up too much of their time.
