Annual Education Competition to award unit/ department with highest increase in certifications and RNs returning to school
KPOC-Irvine has continued to increase the percent of nurses who possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s in Nursing degree for the last 3 years.
From 2014 to 2016, KPOC-Irvine more than doubled the % Certified RNs and has exceeded the organizational goal of 21%
As evidenced by organization-wide, nurse engagement results, nurses perceive access to professional development more than comparative hospitals. Additionally, this score has shown a trended improvement from 2014 to 2016.
