7 Student Consultations…
What’s good about your course? What do you find difficult? What do you recognise as good teaching? What’s your experience of receiving feedback here? How do you find the assessment process here? How did you manage the transition to 3rd level? What helped? What did you need that wasn’t in place here for you?

8 Closing the feedback loop…
Students said: We want greater links to industry & alumni with career relevant information We’re listening: Examining the potential for Alumni visits under Transitions to CIT funding from AnSEO Listings on website of upcoming talks/visits Students said: We want clearer expectations of standards for assessments Incorporate key messages in academic induction. Assessment Matrix is also in development & will be circulated to students. Students said: Making friends in class in Week 1 is crucial to helping us settle. We’re listening: We’re organising a team building day in Week 1 for every first year on this programme under Transitions to CIT funding from AnSEO

9 Testimonials It was great to have the opportunity to highlight issues and make suggestions for the course. Got to hear about issues and points raised by other students and members of staff. Interesting to hear how some issues are there across all the years (staff). Really got to give all my opinions and when I reflected on it on the whole, I realised the course offers good opportunities. Very good positive experience. Very useful to receive feedback in such a relaxed setting (staff). Nice to have such an open discussion and great to have a facilitator. It was nicely paced.
