Making an Appointment Making an appointment Each adviser has an electronic calendar that you as their advisee can access. To schedule a meeting, You will see from this page that one of the main choices is adviser scheduling. Choosing this option will allow you to access your assigned adviser’s calendar. Each option is in half hour time portions that you can be select based on your convenience and availability. You should take the opportunity to visit you adviser at least once per semester to make sure you are making academic progress. During high volume times appointments may be limited so you may wish to schedule your appointment several weeks in advance. After you have made your appointment, you will receive a reminder about that meeting the day prior. This gives you the opportunity to cancel or reschedule.
