An Introduction to Bowman

Overview Founded 2004, based in UK, 80 employees with fast growth
Strong engineering focus: turbomachinery, power electronics, high-speed electrical machines, control systems, software Global customer base - OEMs, VARs, Genset Rental and Distribution Backed by investors with extensive industrial experience We have pioneered the first cost-effective, direct, exhaust heat recovery system for reciprocating engines – the Bowman Turbogenerator Payback Value Proposition based on fuel saving and/or more power Field population is over 600, 10 million run hours accumulated and 300GWh generated so far, worth around $30m New management team has developed focused vision, with processes and personnel to deliver a £50m revenue business in 5 years

How does it work? 33% of the energy in every litre of diesel you use is lost as exhaust heat Bowman Supply Genset Turbocharger Intake air Exhaust 50/60Hz AC Power to grid Power Electronics Electric power Turbogenerator Note: We usually replace the existing turbocharger with a Bowman-designed, high efficiency, model, to optimise the match to the engine and turbogenerator

Most customers recover their investment in under 2 years
Value Proposition Most customers recover their investment in under 2 years Improved fuel efficiency: We reduce the fuel bill by 6-8%, or increase Power Output of Genset by up to 10% Enhanced profitability: Customers can pay up to USD 1 million per engine in fuel per year (e.g. Cummins KTA50-G3 or G8)*. 6-8% is a significant OPEX saving. Proven reliability: We offer a robust and reliable product with more than 10,000,000 operating hours and less than 1 fault per 4 years of running Track record: Our equipment has generated over 300GWh of electricity already, with a value of over $30m Reduced carbon footprint: We enable customers to be running the cleanest, most efficient, diesel gensets on the planet *Fuel efficiency and savings depend on variables such as engine type, application, utilisation and fuel price

Customers & Partners

Key Milestones 2004 Bowman Power Group Ltd founded 2006 Developed Turbogenerator (TG) for Major Truck OEM 2009 Long Term Contract for Biogas GenSet packager (Schnell) 2011 Delivered 280 TG systems for base load powergen 2012 Signed first strategic PowerGen OEM deal (Wartsila) Growth recognised in Sunday Times Tech Track Passed 6 million run hours, 100GWh generated Achieved ISO 9001 and certification 2014 Second strategic OEM deal - Cummins Begin testing with x2 Large Genset Rental Players 2015 x2 Strategy Deals for Large Fleet Retrofits Move into sustainable profit generation

Market Opportunities

The Future Growth – Strategy and plans in place to see significant growth: 2015 saw turnover increase by >60% to £5m. 2016 forecast to continue >60% growth 2020 Corporate objective, above £50m. This will be facilitated through Cost reductions to increase application of current products (improve ROI for customers) Development of new products to broaden offering in current markets and expand into new markets Leverage existing and develop new relationships with major engine OEM’s and key value add packagers and resellers.
