3 Our Aim The core challenge for STARTIFY7 is to connect with existing ICT enterprise training structures through out 7 thematic learning academies which will combine lean start-up training with team-building for young people

4 Our Project The target outcomes of STARTIFY7
The creation of a European wide system of Summer Academies for university and last year high school students entirely focused on ICT entrepreneurship. The summer academies will be action oriented and include activities such as ICT and entrepreneurial skills development; experimenting, mentoring; support for business planning and setting up your company; matchmaking; generation and development of ICT-related business ideas. Complement, extend and enrich similar existing actions while focusing on the ICT sector and excellence. Increased practical entrepreneurial skills amongst students that will allow them to pursue their entrepreneurial aspirations, to start and grow your business or use them in their career.

5 Our Academies Over the summers’ of 2015 and 2016 there will be 7 academies: Proposed 2015 Summer Academies Sheffield Summer Academy in Digital Healthcare Trento Summer Academy in Cyber Security: Nuremberg Summer Academy in Cyber-Physical-Systems and Internet of Things Proposed 2016 Summer Academies Almeria Summer Academy focused Industrial Simulations Thessaloniki Summer Academy focused on Games Katowice Summer Academy focused on Next Generation Enterprise Information Systems Enschede Summer Academy focused on Social and enterprise networks

Promoting the spirit of entrepreneurship through various programmes makes a difference STARTIFY7 will emphasise learning-by-doing in 7 different thematic contexts The goal is to promote insight and foster the conditions for young ICT entrepreneurs to flourish

14 Conclusions Reflecting on the project to-date, there have been some initial signs of success Too early to say with certainty how the impact of STARTIFY7 will play out in the longer-term but making a difference to participants Developing and delivering STARTIFY7 has been refined across the two cycles as a model of interactive learning with stakeholder and business engagemenyy
