ACT Plus Writing Test Date For Juniors April 28, 2015
Juniors taking this ACT exam will be eligible for ACT incentives. Makeup Test will be administered on Tuesday, May 12th. Students must be tested during these state ACT administration dates to be eligible for the incentive.

ACT Incentives 2014 was the first year to offer incentives to all Juniors who took the Spring ACT. Huntsville City Schools is the only district in our area to offer incentives. Juniors will be paid incentives for meeting ACT College Readiness Benchmarks in each of the following areas: English, Math, Science, Reading - $50 each Composite - $100

ACT Preparation ACT Prep Classes were taught in each high school during the fall semester. Appleton will provide a Boot Camp for Juniors prior to the state test date. Naviance ACT online prep

ACT Preparation via Naviance
PrepMe for the ACT will prepare students for the ACT® assessment. The curriculum covers all of the concepts and skills tested on the ACT, including the essay. This course is targeted for the 10th, 11th, and 12th grades. PrepMe for the ACT includes: 84 Lessons/75 Quizzes Diagnostic tests to gauge strengths and weaknesses. 1 full-length online practice ACT test. Reporting on the ACT’s College Readiness Standards and Common Core State Standards for College Success. (Enables teachers to ascertain student strengths and weaknesses relative to standards and differentiate classroom instruction.) The PrepMe for the ACT Item Bank is a set of custom assessments aligned to PrepMe skills, ACT College Readiness Standards, and Common Core State Standards. The Item Bank has 2,000 questions and enables up to 33 hours of comprehensive review and extended practice/learning. Teachers can create custom quizzes using items directly from the question bank.
