2 Residential Education and Housing Staff Members
Central Office Staff Members Area Coordinator Resident Assistants There are several staff members that are available to students that can be great resources for you. Residence Hall Directors are college graduates. They are full-time professionals who work and live in the halls. They assist RA’s in offering the best experience for students. They are knowledgeable about campus resources and can assist residents with problems or find the right campus resource to assist. Resident Assistants or RA’s are students who live on each floor or wing. They also are trained in campus resources, policy, protocol and crisis intervention. This is the first place to go when you have questions. Central Office Staff Members work in Tod Wehr Hall (Resource Fair). The central staff runs overall processes such as housing selection and placement. 9 Residence Life Preparing the Room
Students should talk to their new roommate about futons, microwaves, TVs, refrigerators, rugs, lamps, etc. Most of these items both roommates only need one of Talk to roommate BEFORE purchasing a loft, especially if they plan on having an L-shaped set-up. Remember: only 1 “L-Bracket” per PAIR (2) of roommates and ONLY if using the Modified L for Mad/Lor. Residence Life Lofts also make beds more private for those who like their own personal space. A nice comfy bed left on the floor is very tempting for any and all visitors to crash on!

Approximately 50% of first year student women will be in Sensenbrenner Hall. Approximately 50% of first year student men will be in Burke Hall. Approximately 50% of students will have SNC assign their roommate Campus Living

REH assigns students in order of deposit date. Assignments are made based on application information. Roommate matching – students can self-select until Sunday, June 18. Roommates do not have to be best friends Roommate Info

15 Campus Living Move-in Information
Majority of students move-in on Thursday, August 25 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Honors students move-in on Wednesday, August 24 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Move-in assistance: Bruess’s Brigade Start at Schneider Field. Campus Living

18 Residence Halls Close–First Semester
Residence halls will close on Saturday, December 16, 2017 for first semester. Residence halls open during Long Weekend and Thanksgiving break. For break periods, students will need to inform hall staff they are staying. Campus Living
