16 Part 3. Advantages, disadvantages and recommendations
- Authorities of pilot communes/wards and pilot schools were committed and active in leading/directing the implementation of activities within the Model; some communes/wards and schools financed parts of the funding for communication activities and club meetings/events, provided materials/publications and equipment for the club. - The Model was supported and participated by students, especially girls in pilot sites. It has contributed to providing information for and raising awareness of children in general and girls in particular in terms of RH, life skills, gender equality, etc. With the knowledge provided, they became more open to friends, families and more confident in life.

17 Part 3. Advantages, disadvantages and recommendations
- We received the collaboration of District Education and Training Offices - especially Pedagogical Councils and teachers of lower secondary schools - in communication activities to raise the awareness of adolescents in general and of girls in particular. - Activities assessed as the most effective in the Model were: direct communication and club meetings/events.

18 Part 3. Advantages, disadvantages and recommendations
- The capacity of Club Management Boards and even of commune population officers is limited for developing contents of club meetings/events, presentations, etc. - Communication materials have not meet students’ needs. Students belonged to different age groups so it was difficult to have contents of club meetings/events suitable for all of them.

19 Part 3. Advantages, disadvantages and recommendations
1. We would like GOPFP to continue its technical support, especially in capacity building for officers involved in this Model at provincial/district/commune levels, teachers and Club Management Boards. Books guiding club activities and communication materials should be developed. 2. An assessment of the Model should be conducted as a basis for continued implementation and scale up. 3. We would like to receive attention, leadership, direction and support from MOH, GOPFP and international organizations so that we can achieve objectives set for population and family planning, especially to gradually address challenging problems in an effective manner.

20 THANK YOU.
