In September 2012, our Executive Director decided we should participate in the DuraSpace 2012 Escience Institute. A four month course, designed to help academic and research libraries develop a strategic agenda for e-research support, with a particular focus on the sciences. Ended in a two day capstone Event in Washington DC,, where Strategic Agendas were built and shared.
First question: How will your library use this Strategic Agenda?
   
eScience:  usually refers to a type of scientific research that uses large-scale computing infrastructure to process very large data sets. 
eResearch:  refers more to the concept of research using digital technology (e.g. computing, networks, digital data) in fields including science, social science and the humanities.  Despite its title, the DuraSpace eScience Institute is more focused on eResearch as just defined, but it also explores eScience and other key concepts in modern, network and computer-enable research.
How will your Library engage?
