1 Overview – TI Services November-2015

2 Challenge We Had As CSC Global need to collect data from, and produce reports for, all of CSC managed servers. Data is required by MCS support teams, regional managers, account teams, etc. to satisfy CSC, our clients, and our vendors, that we are meeting contractual obligations Centralize Administration of Information Data valuable for Transformation/New Business exercises Cross-Infrastructure Monitoring Infrastructure forecasting

3 The Solution – Transfer Infrastructure
TI Services collects this data in a single repository, significantly reducing the labor required to produce both regular and ad-hoc reports UNIX Data Collection & SW Distribution Includes UNIX Capacity & Performance Management Information UNIX Asset Management Data UNIX OS/Database/Security Information Patch Management & Availability Data OS and HW Currency Data SOE Software Auto Deployment Patch Bundle Distribution Ad-hoc reporting is supported with both PDF and Excel output Cron entries scanning and management Windows Capacity & Performance Management Information 3

4 TI Services features and benefits

5 Solution Architecture
Store & Forward Server Presentation Server Firewall UnixSOE Clients SFS collects the data captured on clients and forwards to the Presentation Server with the help of TI Server & Client. Processes the data and makes the reports available at PS web console Tier-1 Tier-2 Tier-3

7 Automated SOE/Vendor Software Deployment

8 Key Features - Transfer Infrastructure
Collection of Data from the UnixSOE DCT suite. Centralized PostgreSQL Database for DCT data storage. Centralized web presentation of DCT data, via ad-hoc, standard and summarized reports and flash chart representation. “Plug-in” capability will allow easy integration of future tools Automated software deployment, upgrade and patch distribution using TI Infrastructure (initial scope for UnixSOE & TI Services products only) Product Security Secure Data Transfer using ssh Secure access for approved personnel, controlled via TI Authentication, Access Control, and Audit (AAA) module. Collects this data in a single repository, significantly reducing the labor required to produce both regular and ad-hoc reports Key Data Collection Includes UNIX Asset & inventory OS Security Capacity, Performance & Availability Management Hardware & OS Currency UNIX Patch Windows Capacity & Performance Management Information Windows Compliance Reporting Capability to Produce Standard & Customized Reports on adhoc or scheduled basis. The ad-hoc reports can be saved and re-used, and also scheduled to run and regularly results to users Lotus Notes, according to the schedule (daily, weekly, fortnightly or monthly). The available format of reports are (PDF, EXCEL, TEXT) selected. Different Reports may be obtained for all hosts (of an account) or for a single host.
