5. What is the Lymph System?
It is a network of organs, lymph nodes, ducts and vessels that produce and transport lymph from the tissues into the blood stream.

Fluid that flows throughout the lymph system.
Made of white blood cells- (Lymphocytes) to fight bacteria.

Clusters in the neck, armpits, groin inside chest and abdomen.

There are many lymph nodes- they filter the lymph fluid and help produce white blood cells.

When bacteria are recognized by the lymph fluid, the nodes produce more infection fighting WBC’s. This causes the lymph nodes to swell.
