The culture of collaboration is embraced, expected, and supported at the school and district level as operationalized by the MTSS innovation configuration matrix. District level standard protocols, in the areas of academic and behavior, assessment, curriculum, intervention, instruction, and operations are established, implemented and supported with fidelity. The focus of Professional Development is expecting and supporting fidelity of implementation. Results-driven leadership is expected and supported.

Team Purpose To promote coherent and sustainable implementation of Wichita Public Schools’ MTSS by: Monitoring the work of MTSS Work Groups Provide recommendations to the Academic Leadership Team

15 A Work Group consists of a Core Team and Task Forces.
Work Groups are a diverse group of leaders from various levels and departments that organize, problem-solve, communicate, and collaborate to identify recommendations that align strategies and resources to support the implementation of the MTSS Framework. Work Group Structure Core Team Task Force 1 2 3 4 A Work Group consists of a Core Team and Task Forces. The Core Team includes leaders with expertise in content and topic areas who are responsible for communication, accountability, and implementation of task force projects that align with the Work Group annual targets. Core team members serve a 3-year term. Task Forces are short-term, project-based groups formed at the direction of the Core Team to meet specific objectives and goals related to the Work Group annual targets. Task Force members serve until the assigned task is complete.
