John Wesley That evening he reluctantly attended a meeting in Aldersgate. Someone read from Luther’s Preface to the Epistle to Romans. About 8:45 p.m. “while he was describing the change which God works in the heart through faith in Christ, I felt my heart strangely warmed. I felt I did trust in Christ, Christ alone for salvation; and an assurance was given me that He had taken away my sins, even mine, and saved me from the law of sin and death.”
4
Every time you share your testimony, God is glorified!

Simple three point step:
My life BEFORE I met Christ HOW I came to trust in Jesus How my life has CHANGED

The Main Thing Don’t preach
Don’t be long, too detailed, or go off on trails Don’t clutter with side stories Don’t use too much Christian lingo Don’t give advice
9
The Main Thing Ask permission to share your story Stay focused
Look to see if connecting
10
Be authentic Be honest Don’t embellish Stop and check in

What you think is important
What interests them What is relevant!

God is using YOU! For His special purpose To shine His light
To share His love To bring new disciples to Christ Possibly, to bring someone “home” who has been lost
