3. Gladiators
Gladiators are slaves who fight for the Emperors entertainment . They believe that the gods like to watch aswell . The most popular
weapon was a three headed spear and a fishing net. The stadiums
had trap doors to spring animals in to the arena.

In Rome there were rich people , poor people and slaves. The most powerful person was the Emperor. Romans were the second longest living Empire. At Rome’s largest it stretched across Western Europe all the way to the middle East and Northern Africa.

Romans built a network of roads for long distance travel which connected different areas of land in a new way. The Romans gave us Language ,laws and a legal system. They gave us central heating, straight roads and concrete.
