The explanation why we could maintain the aspect ratio is the ability of our dice to easily release into individual fibres in the extruder, typically double screw co-rotating extruders. This is achieved through a perfect covering of fibres by less than 5% of additives. So Woodforce is 95% wood.
Mr Koch from the VTI showed yesterday very interesting microscopic pictures of WPCs. We do have carried out such analyses on products made from woodforce containing compounds, and we can observe optimal dispersion and improved homogeneity.
