Directions HOSPITAL USE: SINGLE PATIENT USE, change when soiled or as designated by Trust Infection Prevention Procedure. NOT recommended for use on fragile skin. U-Net User Guide The product is easy to apply due to the detachable belt and the groin panel. The panel should be applied on to the outside surface of the belt at the black mark, leaving the front part open. The product is then placed under the patient as shown. The front part of the panel is then pulled between the legs towards the front of the patient. Attach the ends of the belt to complete the belt around the waist. The front part of the panel is then attached along the outside surface of the belt using the red mark as a guide. The panel could be moved up and down as required over the belt ( either from the front or from the back) to achieve a comfortable snug fit for the patient. The panels can be peeled off to inspect the wound and re-applied once examination is completed. Detach front panel (red) from waist band Detach and open waistband ❻ Washing Instructions HOSPITAL USE: Do Not re-use. If soiled with blood/body fluids or used on an infectious patient dispose of as Clinical Waste Please follow colour codes for reattachments Posterior panel can also be detached and reattached for convenience Warning: Keep away from fire Machine Wash The U-Net is available in Small (60-90cm) , Medium (90-120cm), Large ( cm) and Extra-Large ( cm) sizes. Additional ‘net panels’ can be ordered separately from the waistbands. Slide waistband under patient ( with net panel attached to outside of waistband at back-black) and re-attach waistband in front (red) Fibre Content: NYLON 29.42% POLYESTER 45.68% RUBBER 24.9% contains LATEX Pull up front panel and reattach to outside of waistband (red)

2 Conditions where U-Net can be used:
All surgical procedures involving the genitalia , perineum and recto-anal region where wound dressing/padding needs to be supported or kept in position in order to maintain pressure on the operated site for control of bleeding and comfort without the need to use medical tapes which can be irritant to the skin and painful on removal . For men specific procedures: Scrotal procedures like excision hydrocele, variocele and repair of testicular torsion. Following drainage of scrotal abscess, haematoma. Following excision of scrotal tumours. For women specific procedures: All vaginal procedures where a dressing is required to be retained eg: surgical repair of prolapse. drainage of abscess, cysts. pelvic floor repair. For both genders: Surgical uses: Haemorrhoidectomy. Abdomino-perineal resection. Surgical repair of rectal prolapse. Drainage of perianal /perineal abscess. Excision / drainage of pilonidal sinus, abscess. Drainage of abscess in the ilio-inguinal region.
