The minimum course requirements set forth by the University of California and the Cal State University System to be eligible to apply to their schools.​ A – History​ B – English​ C – Mathematics​ D – Laboratory science​ E – Language other than English​ F -  Visual and performing arts​ G – College preparatory electives​ For in depth information regarding the requirements go to requirements​

10 A-G: Points to Consider
If your plan for your freshman is to attend a four year college after high school, schedule an appointment with your students counselor early in the freshman year.  ​ Direct your questions to the trained professionals only. Counselors!!!!​ Even if you had an older sibling graduate last year, it is better to consult counselors.  The college arena and requirements are changing annually.  Incorrect information could disqualify your student from meeting the requirements.​ A-G requirements must begin in the freshman year. Colleges and universities want 12 or more units completed before the application process begins in October of a students senior year. Students should take a minimum of 4 A-G classes a year.

16 Helpful Tips to Support Your Child
USE INFINITE CAMPUS !!! Wednesday Late Start: 8:30am Attendance is critical Make sure you student is on campus by 7:15am. If they arrive at 7:30, they are late. Read each teacher’s syllabus Remember, summer school is only available in district for Juniors. Encourage your student to get involved in a club, campus organization, or sport. Students that are connected to campus activities are typically more successful in their academics.
