Some statements to ponder
Our ethics (or lack of them) is driven by what is at the centre of our hearts. Whatever you are pursuing is determined by what resides at the centre of your heart. Whatever resides at the centre of your heart will determine your values and ethics in life and how you relate to the world. Whatever resides at the centre of your heart will determine your view of self identity.

3 Questions Why do I live in a country that claims to be +70% Christian and yet does not have Christian culture prevailing? Why do you live on a continent that has vast resources (natural and human) and yet is the begging bowl of the world largely surviving on foreign aid? Why is Africa the most evangelised continent and yet shows no evidence of societal transformation that should be consistent with the prevalence of the truth of the bible?

The fruit is an indication of the heart
“A tree is identified by it’s fruit. If a tree is good, it’s fruit will be good. If a tree is bad, it’s fruit will be bad ……..For whatever is in your heart determines what you say. A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart”. (Matthew 12:33-35) “Search me, O God, and know my heart” (Psalm139:23a) “Put me on trial, Lord, and cross-examine me. Test my motives and my heart.” (Psalm 26:2)

The vision…….. Unashamedly Ethical envisions God releasing a wave of positive transformation that will sweep across Africa and the World resulting in the restoration of God’s based values and blessings over nations and individuals. We believe this ‘positive transformation’ will result in all people in every nation having access to basic human services and the opportunity to build prosperous lives for themselves and their families while also positively contributing towards the common good in their communities, cities and nation.
28
The purpose…….. To mobilize God’s people in all nations to make a stand by signing a pledge to commit to a lifestyle of ethics, values and clean living so that a tipping point is reached to rid the world of the corruption and unethical practices that are fuelling systemic poverty and social injustices in society.
29
The mission…….. Unashamedly Ethical is built upon three simple foundations to – Challenging individuals and organizations to sign a pledge to be unashamedly ethical; Connect members through an online directory and create a community of ethical companies, organizations and individuals; Hold signatories accountable through an Ombudsman system.
