Contractor On-boarding
Required steps to ensure proper contractor on-boarding. This entire process may take up to two weeks. Project Provide reporting details to assigned CWS Sourcing Specialist* including required project onboarding documentation/procedures (e.g., fingerprinting paperwork, travel expense reimbursement policy, proper handling of confidential client information, etc.) Complete on-site logistics (e.g., workstation, ID badge, desk phone, etc.) Arrange with Local ITS for contractor laptop pick-up or delivery Contractor personal laptops are not permitted. Designate timesheet approver (manager level/above) Conduct day one orientation with contractor to discuss project expectations; introduce to project team, provide and explain the use of the Ethics Hotline ( ); notify contractors they will not be provided with Deloitte business cards or PDA’s CWS Ensure supplier contract, independence, insurance, etc. is current Confirm with project: rate, duration, estimated start date (dependent upon background investigation completion and contractor’s notice period to his/her current employer) Collect and upload supplier confirmation of successfully completed background investigation prior to contractor joining the project Request SAP ID and/or Deloitte systems access (estimated turnaround is 5-7 business days) Confirm work order is fully executed and contractor signed NDA returned and uploaded prior to contractor joining Ensure the contractor successfully completes the Confidential Information (CI) Training. Send performance guarantee reminder to the project prior to expiration of guarantee period *Please refer to the CWS Sourcing Specialist Assignment slide for contact information

Contractor Off-boarding
Required steps to ensure proper contractor off-boarding. Following these steps mitigates risk to the firm from a contract, systems access and security perspective. Project Provide assigned CWS Sourcing Specialist* with two-week notice of contractor roll-off When immediate roll-off of contractor is required for any reason, contact assigned CWS Sourcing Specialist* for next steps Collect all materials (e.g., laptop, ID badge, documentation, etc.) and return to local ITS/One Team If unable to collect any of the above, contact assigned CWS Sourcing Specialist* immediately Notify client of roll-off if contractor has client systems access which requires termination Provide assigned CWS Sourcing Specialist* with status of either “recommended/not-recommended for future Deloitte projects”, complete and review the Contractor Review Form with specific feedback Approve any outstanding timesheets in the CWS web portal (if issues with outstanding timesheets, contact assigned CWS Sourcing Specialist* to facilitate resolution) CWS Inform the supplier of contractor’s last day on the project Initiate the process to have the contractor’s Deloitte systems access disabled (e.g., Deloitte , IM, etc.) Upon final timesheet approvals, inactivate contractor’s access to CWS web portal Enter an end date and recommendation status on the contractor’s work order in the CWS web portal Send Contractor Review Form to project For those contractors who quit without notice, CWS will make arrangements with supplier to obtain any Deloitte/Deloitte client equipment/materials (e.g., laptop, ID badge, documentation, etc.) in contractor’s possession *Please refer to the CWS Sourcing Specialist Assignment slide for contact information

Rules of the road Contractor do’s and don’ts Do Don’t DO provide CWS Sourcing Specialist with any information regarding contractor roll-off/end date DO contact CWS for assistance if unable to collect Deloitte property prior to roll off DO reach out to CWS to discuss contractor performance DO provide retention incentive payments via CWS web portal. Contact CWS Sourcing Specialist for instructions DO approve all hours worked via the CWS web portal DO have all bill/pay rate discussions with CWS DO inform contractor to have their employer contact CWS should a letter be required for immigration DO contact CWS to initiate the proper contractor/employer issue protocols (i.e. non-payment for services, harassment, discrimination, etc) DO contact CWS if the project wishes to hire a contractor directly into Deloitte DO let your CWS Sourcing Specialist know if a Deloitte-issued laptop is required DON’T provide roll off information directly to the contractor DON’T roll off a contractor until Deloitte laptop/badge/client materials have been retrieved DON’T provide performance evaluations to contractor or supplier DON’T give gifts/bonuses to contractors DON’T approve hours not worked (holidays, sick time, comp time) DON’T discuss bill/pay rates with contractors DON’T provide client letters to contractors/supplier for immigration purposes DON’T try to resolve any contractor HR/employer issues DON’T initiate contractor conversion to FTE discussions directly with contractor DON’T allow contractors to use their own personal laptops When in doubt – contact CWS
