Upgrades from DNS 12 Dragon Professional Individual 15 supports upgrades from v12 products including Premium and Professional However, we will not upgrade the v12 customer’s user profile(s). The v12 speech recognition engine is based on a much older technology. DPI 15 is up to 26% more accurate out of the box than DNS 12, on average. We do not expect v12 customers to notice any degradation in accuracy as a result of the upgrade. When a v12 customer installs the upgrade, they will be notified that they must uninstall v12 before they can proceed. They will be prompted to write down their serial number and to save custom words and commands for later use during the upgrade installation. Once the customer uninstalls the v12 product, they will be prompted for their old serial number to make sure it is a valid upgrade.
