The historical context is for background information, the claim is for your argument.
If you were focusing on Confucianism, the historical context should have provided background info on how this philosophy got started, while the claim provided your reasons for why it was most effective at bringing order and stability to China.
Make sure your claim includes specific reasons to support your argument.
Confucianism was the best philosophy for bringing order and harmony to China because it emphasized education, filial piety and a government ruled by “superior men.”

Make sure in the Analysis section, you not only provide characteristics of Confucianism, but explain how EACH of these characteristics helped to bring order and harmony to China. Also, do not forget to cite the documents.

What do you think will be the Spartan attitude towards visitors and new ideas? Why? What impact will this have on their civilization?
As a society completely focused on the military, Sparta produced no lasting works of literature, art or philosophy. Can Sparta be considered a true civilization if it doesn’t have these things?
