5. CRE Highlights First, the GOOD NEWS!!!
All SOICS owned RPs are essentially Up to Date, and continue on a planned Maintenance Track. GREAT WORK!!!
No User Request for Interpretation (RFIs) since the Spring, 2013 meeting.
API requested SOICS to contribute to a API Position Paper on Control System Security Measures in the Upstream, Downstream, and Pipeline sectors. SOICS contributed to the Downstream sector. Many of you contributed or reviewed the Paper.
R. Von Brecht and I participated in a Telecon with API Lawyers in September on the subject of Trade names in our RPs. The API Lawyers were ad dement about sticking to the API Style Guide. That is, No Trade names used, or if used acknowledged by a Footnote.
SOICS Leadership changes effective April, 2014:
Michael Corbo, - ExxonMobil –> Current Chairman term ends.
Mike Kelsheimer, - Marathon Petroleum -> New Chairman from Vice Chair. 3-year term.
Jose Araujo, Chevron -> New Vice Chairman 3–year term.

6. CRE Highlights Cont’d CRE News - Nothing really new
Reviewed the SR3 (Standard Resource & Revision Review) Procedure – especially around requests for Funding:
All work to a API RP or Standard must have a SR3 submitted to Project Coordination Committee (PCC).
PCC and RSC must approve all Funding Requests and Resource needs
When asking for Funding must always be done at the Spring PCC Meeting for the following year. Funds are approved in the June timeframe.
