2 ESD in United Nations (UN)
There was a UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development , whose aim was to encourage education for sustainable development and its incorporation into formal non-formal and informal education curricula and programmes. The Decade continoues from 2015 in the Global Action Program of UNESCO:

4 Legal framework for ESD in Hungary
Act of Environmental protection in 1995, declaring that “all citizens have the right to acquire and develop knowledge about the environment” Since the first National Core Curriculum in 1996, EE (later ESD) is a horizontal content and approach relevant to all cultural domains in the Hungarian public education.
