3 Renaissance Festival Due Friday Field Trip 11/2
Should reflect the themes of the Texas Renaissance Festival such as royalty, life in the 15th/16th centuries, fantasy, or renaissance literature, science or art. Must be original in concept, design and execution and may not violate any US copyright laws. No larger than 32 inches by 32 inches from the outside dimensions of the frame, or in the case of 3D: 32’ by 32’ by 32”. Awards will be given to the first, second and third place finalists in each category. Awards will be presented to the winners at the Royal Awards Ceremony held at the 2:00 in the Sea Devil Tavern both days. See the School Days schedule of events.

5 Scholastic Art Awards Regional Awards National Awards
Gold Key: The very best works submitted to local programs. Gold Key works are automatically considered for national–level recognition Silver Key: Stand-out works submitted to local programs that demonstrate exceptional ability. Honorable Mention: Accomplished works submitted to local programs showing great skill and potential. American Visions & Voices Nominees: Five works, from across all categories and grades, are selected from those earning Gold Keys as the “Best-of-Show” for each local program as nominees for the American Visions & Voices Medals. Gold Medal: The most outstanding works in the nation. Silver Medal: Works demonstrating high honors on the national level. American Visions & Voices Medals: One work from each local region, from the five American Voices & Visions Nominees, will earn an American Visions & Voices Medal. Gold & Silver Medal Portfolios: Seniors with outstanding portfolios are recognized with Gold Medal Portfolio and Silver Medals with Distinction Portfolio Awards. These honors include scholarships Sponsored Awards: Additional awards and scholarships are presented through the support of our sponsors. National Medalist are recognized in part at the National Ceremony at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
