2. Student’s Application Process
Create an Account at apply.uvu.edu
Create a Application
Receive a Thank you for Filling out an Application
Receive a Missing Items
Submit necessary Supplemental Items (listed in Missing Items )
Receive an Acceptance
Students can log back into their Account at anytime during the process to check their status, or fill out an additional application

5. Application Types NEW UNDERGRADUATE - $35 application fee
For students who have never previously applied to Utah Valley University
RETURNING/READMIT - $15 application fee
For students who have previously applied to UVU but have not taken classes in the last 7 semesters
RETURNING, FORMER HIGH SCHOOL CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT – No fee
For students who have previously been admitted to UVU as a Concurrent Enrollment student, AND are currently in high school or have graduated within the last year, who now wish to attend as an undergraduate student.

8. High School Problems I can’t put in my high school:
If their high school is not listed please have them select Utah as the state and DO NOT INPUT A CITY. There will be an option for OTHER IN STATE HIGH SCHOOL or OUT OF STATE.
If they attended high school outside the United States have them select Outside the United States, as the country and please DO NOT INPUT A CITY. When you click search, an option for OUT OF COUNTRY HIGH SCHOOL will be available.
If they have received a GED or HOME SCHOOL diploma, please have them choose Utah as the State and DO NOT INPUT A CITY, these choices are listed under Utah high schools.
NEVER select “This Organization is Not Listed”
They need to make sure to click the SELECT button after they click on their HS

9. Application Errors
If a student has not filled out a portion of the application a RED Error message will occur when they try to submit. The portion in the parentheses is a link to the portion of the application they haven’t filled out.

10. Application is Charging Fee
If a student is complaining about the application charging them the wrong fee the ONLY reason it will do this is if they filled out the wrong application. Have them go back to their “My Account” page to verify which application they have filled out, and if necessary have them create a new application.
As a reminder:
New Undergraduate - $35 application fee
Returning/Readmit - $15 application fee
Former HSCE within last year - FREE

11. Forgotten Password Enter their EMAIL They answer
the question, create a new password and it takes them to the
My Account Page
