2. Plot Summary
A girl named Ruby Rose is in a shop, minding her own business. Suddenly, a group of men, led by Roman Torchwick, attempt to rob the shop. Realizing this, Ruby takes action and defeats the group of men except for Roman. He runs up to a roof top to flee onto an airship, while she follows him. Once onboard, he launches a fatal attack, but a woman suddenly shields Ruby. After a bit of a strife, the airship escapes. The woman, Glynda Goodwitch, introduces her to the Professor Ozpin, the head of Beacon Academy. Being praised by her scythe fighting skills, she is accepted into the academy. Later on, she’s with her sister Yang, on an airship towards Beacon Academy.

3. Exposition
In the prologue, it explains how there was war between humans and creatures known as Grimm. Humans eventually discovered a power called “Dust” that repelled the Grimm. However, they knew that peace may be coming to an end.
In present day, a teenager girl named Ruby Rose is in a Dust shop. She appears to be on her own, listening to music.

4. Initiating Event
A group of men, lead by Roman Torchwick, attempt to rob the Dust shop.

5. Rising Action
When Ruby notices them, she fights and defeats everyone in the group except for Roman Torchwick.
He then heads up onto a roof top to flee into an airship. Ruby follows him.

6. Climax
After Roman is aboard on the airship, he launches a fatal attack towards Ruby.
However, a blonde woman suddenly appears and protects her.

7. Falling Action
A woman on the airship attacks both of them, which allows the airship to escape.
Ruby is then later scolded by the blonde woman, a huntress named Glynda Goodwitch.
Glynda introduces Ruby to Professor Ozpin, the head of Beacon Academy.
When Ruby states that its her goal to be a huntress, she is accepted to Beacon Academy.

8. Resolution
Ruby is with her sister Yang on an airship travelling towards their new school.

9. Antagonist Roman Torchwick
He attempted to rob the Dust shop, fought with Ruby.

10. Protagonist
Ruby Rose
In almost every scene, the episode is her name.
