The Florence County Library System has 103,111 Cardholders.
The Library System had 544,045 visitors last year.
The Florence Library is also known as Headquarters. Library branches are located at Johnsonville, Lake City, Olanta, Pamplico, and Timmonsville.
FCLS is part of an eighteen county library system consortium called SC LENDS.

7. Friends of the Florence County Library
Is a non-profit organization that enhances the Florence County Library System by supplementing public funding for books, materials, and programs.
Sells books through online sales and the Book Nook.
Organizes fund raisers such as Books ‘n’ Boil with a silent auction, author speaking engagements, etc.
