My Credentials
I have been teaching Computer related subjects since the year In 2011, I earned a Master of Arts degree specializing in Education Technology from CSUN
In the past, I have taught; word processing, spreadsheets, databases, multimedia presentations, publications, Stick figure Animation Scratch programming and Google apps such as docs, sheets and sites
In 2008, I learned to create websites with Dreamweaver but didn’t learn to code until 2010 with XHTML. I find myself fascinated with the language however, the language of the web is an evolving one and in this course you will learn the most current language; HTML5.

3. What will I learn?
In this course you will learn the design fundamentals of web pages and websites through a fictitious story called TadsTees.
You will learn to code with HTML5 (Hyper Text Markup language)– this provides structure or building blocks
You will learn to style or format with CSS (cascading style sheet)
You will be introduced to the new tags in HTML5 and supporting technologies such as geolocation, audio, video, canvas, web forms, web storage, web workers, CSS-animation, transitions and 2D and 3D- transformations

4. How do I access the course material and get graded?
There are two ways to access the course material; the local server and the course website at
You will save the completed projects in your server folder and I will either walk around and grade you from the computers or access your server folder at afp://

Please Note
This is not an atomic physics course but it requires dedication to stay on top of the assignments to earn an ‘A’
And it’s very easy to drop to a lower grade by missing just a few assignments and not respecting and following the class rules.
I hope you will stay and lean this exciting course however, know that there is a deadline for switching if web design and coding isn’t your cup of tea.
