Menahem – Ruled 10 Years and Died.
Pekahiah – Reigned 2 Years and Was Murdered.

We Think They Will Bring Us Success, Power, Fame, etc.
We Like What They Produce or Stand For.
King Ahaz Visited Tiglath-pileser and Was Amazed at His Altar.

Notice He Kept God’s Altar Around So He Could Inquire of God By It.

8. What Do We Want to Imitate
Israel Always Struggled with God Because They Wanted to Imitate the World.
We Need to Imitate Jesus Christ.
Morally
Spiritually
Physically
There Is No Greater Power, Helper, Friend, or Savior You Will Find.
