1. How to Make a Cake

2. Get the ingredients ready
Flour, eggs, butter, baking powder, salt, sugar, vanilla, milk
Heat the oven to 350 degrees
Grease and flour the cake pan using Crisco
Take out a medium bowl and a large bowl and the mixer

3. In large bowl, beat sugar and 3/4 cup softened butter with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy
Beat in 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla and eggs until well blended.
Alternately add flour mixture and 1 1/4 cups milk

4. Pour batter evenly into pan
Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean
Cool completely, about 1 hour
