This Student Angler Federation Club chapter is called the Buccaneer Bassmasters. Our club number is
Our motto is:: "PROMOTING EDUCATION THROUGH FISHING"
The purpose of our club is to promote and encourage youth fishing through education of fishing techniques, ethics, sportsmanship, and conservation.
Requirements for membership:
1) Be a student at South Dade Senior High
2) Be a member of the Bass Federation’s Student Angler Federation- SAF (included in club membership dues)
3) Must attend 70% (7 out of 10) of the club meetings
4) Active members of the Buccaneer Bassmasters cannot participate in any other youth bass club.

2. BUCCANEER BASSMASTERS
Dues for membership will be $35.00 per year, in advance- Payment window will be September 14- September 30 this year.
No Refunds. Fees are not pro-rated.
Team Jersey cost is per angler.
Jersey order will be placed ONLY after dues and Jersey money are paid. They are only ordered once per year. 4-6 weeks production time!

3. BUCCANEER BASSMASTERS
Buccaneer Bassmasters is not only about fishing but also about education and how math, science and language arts relate to fishing. Tournaments are “no entry fee” events and payouts are in scholarships, prizes and trophies, not cash.
Every member also gets unlimited access to online learning tools, educational materials, meeting agenda formats and testing with TBF’s partner, Faculty of Fishing.
Club members have the latest and most up to date online fishing education program available to date with the Faculty of Fishing and their expert staff.

4. BUCCANEER BASSMASTERS
Removal of membership: Removal from membership must be determined by two-thirds vote of the Club membership present at the meeting. Removal from Club membership may be for the following:             1) Any un-sportsmanlike conduct.                2) Failure to pay annual membership dues.             3) Failure to attend 70% (7 out of 10) of the club meetings.             4) Failure to participate in 3 of the 4 regular season tournaments
5) Failure to maintain a 2.0 GPA
6) Excessive absences (10 or more)
7) Excessive Tardiness (10 or more)
8) repeat behavior issues (referrals, CSI, etc.)
YOUR GRADES, ATTENDANCE AND BEHAVIOR WILL BE MONITORED!

5. BUCCANEER BASSMASTERS
Membership in the club is a privilege!
The Club sponsor, school principal or Designee has the right to revoke or refuse membership to anyone, at any time. These decisions will be made solely upon maintaining the integrity of the club
Tournament entry- members must be in good standing to be eligible to fish. All fees must be paid before the first tournament. by the meeting prior to the tournament.  If member cannot attend meeting, member must make arrangements and notify officers BEFORE the meeting. Failure to do so will make member ineligible to fish in the tournament.  Section 3. – Failure to Participate: If a member fails to participate in the tournament, that member will be considered a “NO SHOW”

Volunteers- will be needed to assist us with the season. Volunteer procedures are on our website.
Donations- We are accepting donations of any & all bass fishing related items. Rods/ reels, fishing line, sunscreen, sunglasses, lures, tackle boxes- etc. we want every member to have the basic equipment needed to participate- regardless of their financial situation. Coach Waring will be receiving and storing all donations

8. BUCCANEER BASSMASTERS
Social Media- we have a face book page and an Instagram account- the officers & members need to be directing traffic to these pages- add all your friends--- the more the better. When you see stuff that the club posts on facebook, like and share it- the more exposure to what we are doing, the better. Coach Owens is responsible for social media and has been posting almost daily in the face book page. Things need to happen often so the pages aren’t boring! We want people to notice what we’re doing. We will be nominating and electing someone to assume the primary responsibility of social media.

Online Learning: once your TBF dues are paid, you have access to the e- learning and meeting guides. Everyone should be doing their “homework” so that you possess the knowledge to succeed and become a leader in the club.

Sign up and select South Dade High School as your team. Participate in the challenges and earn points towards FREE STUFF!

Sportsmanship: It is expected that each angler practice good sportsmanship in all you do. Both on and off the water.

SWIM TEST
All active members will be required to complete a swim test per MDCPS policy for water related events. We will schedule a field trip and have you all tested as a group.
