Regular CIP is required.

8. Operations with SCALEBAN
Direct use of BMSW in cooling tower as make up water instead of fresh water.
Using cooling tower as an evaporator.
Low Capex.
Zero Opex.
Zero scale is guaranteed for 20 years in condensers and heat exchangers.
Reduction in blow down from cooling tower by more than 80-90% which would be used for boiler ash cooling.
No generation of process condensate, thereby no requirement of CPU.
