To make you feel good about using Evernote because you want to not because you think you should. To help you organize Evernote keeping in mind that everyone’s brain is wired differently. To try to simplify Evernote so it isn’t quite so scary. To offer ideas of how Evernote might work for YOU.

To create a stack: Drag and drop one notebook on to another. This will create a stack called “Notebook Stack” which you will need to rename. Notebooks Notes (Only reside in notebooks) Warning: Your brain may be wired differently. This organization method may not work for you.

You start with one default notebook. Notebooks can be local or synchronized. You can have up to 250 Notebooks. The basic rule is this: local notebooks will only ever be accessible to people with physical access to your computer.
