National Visit A Park Day- Friday, October 7th (Party Schedule)(Parent volunteers needed, at least one additional parent per group)
Activities on Island (HPTL office staff)
-Craft/Story Time/Duck feeding information
Children will eat lunch outside (bring towel with childs name on it) Parents/siblings welcome
**Parents may bring lawn chairs or extra blankets/towels for lunch time at park

3. Reminders
No parents in kitchen/classroom area unless specified otherwise by MOD
Please show each other respect, we are all adults
Parents work as a team/communicate/active
Working parents must supervise children at lunch time, MOD will advise when it’s your turn to grab lunch

4. Reminders Arrive on time on working day (9:00am)
Review duties before arriving on work day & focus ONLY on your group color duties
Working parents MUST be fluent in English & physically capable of caring for children

Anyone interesting in being put on waiting list must fill out form
Please inform of any changes to personal info such as cell number, addresses, etc.

Pumpkin Patch (Long Beach-PA’S)
No school, provide your own transportation
Details such as meeting time, fee, etc. will be discussed later

8. Fall Picture Day Thursday, October 20th
No School
Individual pictures taken on a first come first serve basis
Arrive on time for your group picture, to avoid being left out
Sibling(s) allowed in one picture with tot lot child

9. Picture day Schedule 10:00am, Red group class pictures
10:20am, Red group individual pictures
10:30am, Green group class pictures
10:50am, Green group individual pictures
11:00am, Blue group class pictures
11:20am, Blue group individual pictures

10. Teacher Karen Calendar Homework
If absent class work will be placed in bucket and to be returned with homework packet
Working parents assist kids during class time with completion of worksheets, writing name, etc.

11. Monday MOD- Annette
Turn in craft sample at least one week before craft day ($15 penalty if craft sample not submitted one week prior to craft day, $30 penalty if craft not prepared day of craft)
Paint day once a month- Craft member must incorporate paint into their craft, refer to monthly calendar for paint date
First paint day is October 24th

Halloween Party- Monday, October 31st (Party schedule)
Regular working members dress up
Children cannot bring costume accessories
Wednesday working parents will work two days that week: Monday. Oct 31st (Halloween party) & Wednesday, Nov 2nd (Regular working day)
Some October crafts will not be going home as they are used for decorations at party

15 goodie bags due per child enrolled (16 goodie bags for Blue)- functional items (NO nuts/chocolate/bubbles/glitter)
Goodie bag ideas: Snacks, stickers, juice boxes, crayons, coloring books, puzzles, play-doh, craft supplies/activities
Goodie bags due- Monday, October 24th
